AUSTRALIAN TRAINEESHIPS

What is an Australian Traineeship?

An Australian Traineeship is a full time or part time employment based training program that provides an opportunity to gain formal recognition of skills and knowledge.

Australian businesses are encouraged to participate in workplace training programs from Certificate II – Certificate IV and may be eligible to receive the Australian Government Training Contribution of up $4,000.00 per employee.

The training combine’s practical experience at the workplace with on the job training and assessment with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) such as Perceptum Training Partners will issue a certificate upon successful completion.

A Certificate is issued when a trainee has:

• Achieved the relevant industry standards and competencies in the workplace

• Successfully completed all the required components of training program

• Completed the full term of the traineeship (unless a reduction of term has been granted)

Working closely with the Department of Education (DET), Department of Education Employment Workplace Relations (DEEWR), Australian Apprenticeship Centres (AAC), Industry Training Advisory Boards (ITABs) to ensure your organisation needs are met.

Australian Government Training Contribution

The Australian Government will contribute up to $4,000.00 for each successful completed participant undertaking and Australian Traineeship. (Eligibility conditions apply)

Australian Apprenticeships Centre

We work closely with Australian Apprenticeships Centre throughout Australia. Australian Apprenticeships Centre will ensure requirements are met. Australian Apprenticeships Centre will liaise with all stakeholders throughout the term of the traineeships.
